So I swapped my beauty book with krystal and yesterday I received the package of goodies that she sent me...she sent me a bunch of stuff!! and it all came in this pretty package


So most of the e/s she sent me were neutral colors..love them..I really dint own neutral e/s before but now thanx to her i do :D

REVLON mini-HAUL!!!

So today when I woke up I logged in to my blogger and I saw nessa'a entry and I loved, loved the revlon matte lippies she got, So after work I headed to my local walgreens and got me some :D yay!!! these babies are so pretty, I ♥ them, plus the fact that they were buy one get one half off, so this is what i ended up getting...

BTW @ walgreens they gave this rebate thingy for the lippies..all I have to do is send my receipt and I get a check to use at walgreens..how cool is that so its like I basically got them for free..so if u gurls go to walgreens ask about this rebate..just thought u might want to know..well I guess this is all for today...im gonna take a nap cuz I think Im getting sick...Im afraid I might get the flu cuz its going around alot right now...

EOTD: mocha..sage

So I did this EOTD tonight...trying out my new elements compact from elf, those colors are so pigmented..I was totally surprised!!! I think..[maybe] I might order some more e/s colors..I used the colors in sage [greenish color] and mocha [brownish color]

This is what I used:

L'oreal de-crease

Base: light color from butter pecan cream duo

upper & lower lid: mocha

crease: sage

e/l: jane gel eyeliner

waterline: avon colortrend

mascara: maybelline define-a-lash

Goodies from Tammy!!

SO LADIES TODAY I RECEIVED MY PACKAGE FROM THE LOVELY TAMMY...SHE OFFERED TO SEND ME THE NYX "THALIA" ROUND LIPSTICK AFTER READING MY NYX WISHLIST POST.....THAT WAS SO NICE OF HER.. SO I WAS EXCITED TO SEE THAT NOT ONLY DID SHE SEND ME THE NYX THALIA L/S BUT ALSO ANOTHER ONE IN CREAMY BEIGE..BOTH BEAUTIFUL COLORS!!!

Final e.l.f Haul----For a while

So ladies..this is my final haul from e.l.f, I got a couple of stuff and of course I wanted to share it with u girls... So lets start!!

all my goodies came in this bag..the bag came inside a huge white box...of course...


I got 3 nail polishes, I read the reviews on the website and alot of them were very good so i said "what the heck"..[probably just by applying a good top coat will make them last longer] so I got:

SWatches!!!!

Hey girlies so like I promised here are the swatches of my cheapy haul!!...my fave items out of this haul were the H.i.P duo in flashy and the revlon sheer loose e/s...I am going to be posting an eotd using the flashy duo as soon as I can because I swear it is so beautiful..well I think it is beautiful!! Head in the clouds

these are also so pretty..I like them alot...I really need to try them wet!

And the H.i.P duos, all of them are so pretty but like I said before my absolute fave is flashy!!

Fun Day + Cheapy haul

Today I had a great time with my love, we actually woke up early on a saturday [our day off], so we could take advantage of the whole day, so this is what we did...first we went to breakfast..it was yummy, then we went to da bank to get some $$$, then we headed to the fleamarket it took us about 20 min to get there...I love long drives cuz this gives me and my love a chance to be silly and have great conversations..I bought me some nice cheapo make-up, and my baby got himself..some nice shirt, cap, and sunglasses... then we came home and took a 3 hr nap..we were so tired from waking up early and walking around!!

I took a pic when we were on da way..I tried taking some of my baby but he doesn't really like me taking pix of him :(

It was effing cold so my baby bought me this little hoodie??? I dont know what it's called..I might look silly but it was super warm..I'm saving it for next winter :D

NYX Wishlist

So there are a couple of NYX products that I have been eyeing for a while now, Ive been wanting to get them off of cherryculture.com but the shipping price kills me...my hubby already gave me the okay to buy them [we discuss everything money-wise] but I dont know..I dont know what to decide yet, so once again I am looking to u beautiful ladies to help me decide what would be worth buying..so my list is as follows:

NYX concealer in a jar in "glow", I think this must be a perfect shade for me?? What do u think??

NYX Round l/s in "thalia", "louisiana"

NYX Jumbo l/p "hera", "almond", & "soft fuschia"

NYX Mega Shine Lipgloss in "golden pink", "beige", "barbie pink", & "smokey look"

*I picked most of these colors cuz I saw them on nessasarymakeup's blog..the swatches were beautiful and I feel like I must have them...So please ladies give me ur feedback, so i can make my decision..Thanx :D

What the Prestige Webstite claims:

Comfortable, long-wearing shades, with moisturizing ingredients, keep lips soft and smooth.


**Note: Always and of course must you have your lips well moisturized and if available a good base is always an option, If u have trouble with dried lips..click here for more info on how to prevent this problem.

What I think!!

In my opinion, I think these are one of the best lippies that I have tried out of the drugstore brands. These lippies do go on very creamy and stay on for a very good amount of time before u have to reapply.Before applying the l/s I always apply my carmex, just a light coverage to make sure theyre not to dry for the l/s...the l/s goes on very smoothly...these lippies are very comparable to the NYX round l/s..only they do last a little longer than NYX..so if u gals have a nearby walgreens go check if these are on sale..if not, the $4 would not be a bad price to purchase these!!

Final Verdict!

I will def go back to walgreens and purchase more of these :D

BTW I did purchase two more l/s [slipper, fever] and two l/l [tomango, baby] a couple of days ago so here are the new ones I bought:

slipper kinda looks a little darker than spunky..and fever kinda looks like "indian pink" from NYX


I bought tomango cuz it's such a vibrant red..I needed a red l/l, and I got baby just cuz the color was too cute not to buy...

Review: e.l.f Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder

Where I bought it: e.l.f

Price: $3.00

What the e.l.f website claims:

Create a healthy and natural glow all year long. The Blush highlights the cheeks to add a flush of color, while the Bronzer accents and contours cheekbones for beautiful definition.

What I think!!

In my opinion, I loved the color of the blush and the fact that it has tiny bit of shimmer to it, however u really do have to grab quite a bit in order for it to show on ur cheeks...other than that the blush is perfect!

The bronzer on the other hand is a bit too dark, even for my skin color..so for the bronzer a little really does go a long way..

Final Verdict!

I will continue to use the blush but as far as the bronzer goes, I dont think I will be using it too much..Like i said its too dark for me...So all in all I would recommend this product, The blush is such a pretty shimmery coral color and I love it, and the price..u def cant go wrong with that :D
