So I have been looking for the brush cleaning jar and for some reason I haven't found it!!! Bummer!!! So I decided to make my own by using a sponge and a glass jar that I previously used for my brushes!! So I made a step-by-step on how I went about doing this :D
The jar was $1
My so called "circle"
I made my homemade brush cleaning solution using enkore's recipe

cool! so the sponge isn't too harsh on the brushes? i've seen those brush cleaning jars but not in person. i wonder if it's the same texture as a sponge. if so, you definitely got the better deal out of it! thanks for the trick [:
That's actually a smart idea! I might try this (:
Have you tried Sally's? I think I might of seen it there.
ohhh that is sooo cool girl!!! Great idea! I may try that soon! My brushes need some cleaning.
awww this is great sof!
I have my sally brush cleaner, i got lucky to only buy it for 88 cents (pure luck)
but this is such a great DIY alternative. You can also try going to art shops/art supplies, that's whre one of my gf got her brush cleaner!
good luck on your search!!!
cheap, easy and IT WORKS =)
This is a really great idea!! I could never think of doing that. If you want an alternative to that brush cleaning jar sally's sells one that's called the total immersion brush cleaner and it has grooves on the bottom instead of a sponge that cleans the brushes I've had mine for like 6-7 months and I LOVE it, it makes things so much easier. But yeah... :)
lol i never thought about just putting a normal spnoge at the bottom :] im going to try this soon.
oHhh good idea!!! nice tipsss n tricks =D im prob gonna try this.. soo much better than using my palms lol
