How To: Homemade brush cleaning Jar!!!

So I have been looking for the brush cleaning jar and for some reason I haven't found it!!! Bummer!!! So I decided to make my own by using a sponge and a glass jar that I previously used for my brushes!! So I made a step-by-step on how I went about doing this :D
The sponge was 3 for about $2
The jar was $1

My so called "circle"

I made my homemade brush cleaning solution using enkore's recipe

So I just put the "circle" shape sponge into the jar and started cleaning

So I cleaned 6 of my durrttyyy brushes

ewwwww

That's all..so I hope u girls don't think I'm a weirdo for doing this.
This weekend I'll probably go to Michaels to see if I can find a "real" brush cleaning jar and also I want to purchase some loew cornell brushes :D
I hope u girls have an awesome day or night!!!

cool! so the sponge isn't too harsh on the brushes? i've seen those brush cleaning jars but not in person. i wonder if it's the same texture as a sponge. if so, you definitely got the better deal out of it! thanks for the trick [:

This is a really great idea!! I could never think of doing that. If you want an alternative to that brush cleaning jar sally's sells one that's called the total immersion brush cleaner and it has grooves on the bottom instead of a sponge that cleans the brushes I've had mine for like 6-7 months and I LOVE it, it makes things so much easier. But yeah... :)
