-Weird, ugly smell and taste on the older ones I bought, newer ones I purchased have a fruity smell
-a little too sticky
-most shades are very shimmery or sheer
-I found that some of the colors are very similar in shade yet still have something that makes it it's own color
PROS

-Very Affordable---only $1.99
-Come in 12 different shades
-Doe-foot applicator makes it easy to apply
-very good pigmentation
-can be found in most drugstores, walmart, target
Would I re-purchase?? Only if I could smell them first!! lol!!
My fave is Iced OrchidSo I did some on-lip swatches and some swatches on my hand

N.Y.C liquid lip shine is a very good beauty bargain for anybody who is on a budget or simply for somebody who enjoys finding little bargain treasures, I personally adore these, I wouldn't say I love them..because my only downfall to these is that yucky smell if it wasn't for the smell I would wear these all the time :D

Sheer raspberry looks like the perfect colour I've been looking for! Like a jelly light pink. I'll have to pick that up.
I've usually been thrown off by NYC glosses cause they look so frosty, but by looking at your swatches they look pretty! I like iced orchid too, even though if I saw this in person, I probably wouldn't pick it up, but now I'd have to rethink that. ;)

i bought one last month & have only used it once. i don't really like it. but NYC's lipsticks are fabbbb.

Sungold Pink is like my 2nd favorite lip gloss of all time! I got a horde of NYC glosses. LoL. But I know what you mean about the smell; it kind of smells like vinyl or plastic but I got used to it. Good thing they added a nicer scent to it.
